What player prop tools are actually free?

We build one of the tools on this list. It is fifth, and the reasons are written out rather than buried.

Every roundup in this category reads pricing pages. We opened each tool in a browser with no account and no credit card, on the same MLB slate, and wrote down what actually rendered. That gap turned out to matter more than expected: what a tool advertises as free and what a logged-out visitor can use are frequently different products.

What each one gives you without an account

BettingPros is the answer for most people, and it surprised us

Logged out on the 27 August slate, the analyzer rendered the whole board: seven games, 1,116 props, all 15 MLB markets with live counts, and every one of the 32 pages navigable. Each row carried the line, both prices, and a rating out of five. The comparison page we opened showed roughly sixteen books, with the opening line and consensus beside the best price.

One mechanical note for anyone repeating this. The page loads lazily, so a cold visit shows an empty search box and a nav bar. It looks walled and is not. Scroll, and the board appears.

What you do not get without paying: which side they like, the numeric projection, and cover probability. The conclusions are paid. The evidence is free.

PropsMadness gives the deepest free look, at one player a day

The unlocked player is not a teaser. On Yamamoto at 6.5 strikeouts we got 23 games plotted against the line, a hit rate of 47.8 percent sitting directly beside the market’s implied 45.0 percent, the closing line from every start, park and weather with a home run adjustment, and a matchup breakdown by pitch type. Every other player on the card said UNLOCK.

Unabated, and why free needs three buckets here

This one taught us to stop using free and no-account as though they mean the same thing.

• Without signing up: two calculators, no-vig fair odds and an odds converter. Both work and both are useful.
• With a free account: vendor materials describe selected odds, prop odds and some tools. We did not create an account, so we did not verify the logged-in experience.
• Paid: advanced prop simulations, projections and the broader feature set start at $99 a month.

Worth flagging that the vendor disagrees with itself. One post says the free tier carries real-time odds and prop odds. A different post places the props simulator in the paid tier and is stale, describing the 2022 product at an annual price that no longer exists. The live pricing grid has no free column at all. If you are choosing on whether prop odds are free there, the honest answer is that Unabated has not made it clear.

Props.Cash shows a logged-out visitor nothing

There is no demo, no sample board, no blurred preview. The only route into the product sends you to a login screen before any data loads. Their homepage names eight leagues in a scrolling banner and their older promo page names seven, dropping college football and using different nomenclature for college basketball, so treat league counts as marketing rather than specification.

The free surface is a blog: one post per league with five hand-written trend paragraphs, no odds and no prices. Most league posts are weeks or months old. Worth a read, not a research tool.

And one that is gone

Propeller appears in search results with confident descriptions of an analyzer and confidence scores. The domain now redirects to a parked-domain page. Whatever was there has been gone long enough for the descriptions to outlive it, which is worth remembering when a roundup recommends something the writer clearly never opened.

Why ours is fifth

Two leagues where BettingPros covers many, and our WNBA side carries no form leans at all. The board is a morning snapshot rather than live pricing. On roughly a third of it we show no edge number, because no independent exchange priced that line and we would rather print nothing than a flattering guess. Our own published card is negative over its tracked run and stays on the results page.

What it does have: no account, no email, no credit card. Form, the price at every book we track for that prop, the devigged fair number, and the matchup, on one page, for MLB and WNBA. For anything else on this list BettingPros is the honest answer.

Twelve tools opened in a browser on 27 August 2026, logged out, no account and no credit card, on the same MLB slate. We recorded what rendered rather than what the pricing page promised, and we created no accounts anywhere, which is why the free-account tiers are described rather than tested.
