How to read the hit rates

A line is cleared when the player went over it; every line here ends in .5, so there are no pushes. Last 10 and last 20 are his most recent games, regular season and postseason together, Game 1 included. For hitters a game is any game with at least one plate appearance, so pinch-running and defence-only games are left out; for the starters it is starts only. The regular-season and postseason columns are the full 2026 counts, kept apart.

Rasmussen averaged 5.80 strikeouts a start in 30 regular-season starts (median 5.5) and cleared 5.5 in 15 of them. His last 10 starts went 5, 5, 6, 7, 4, 3, 11, 10, 7 and 6: over 5.5 six times. Henderson averaged 6.11 (median 7) in 18 regular-season starts and cleared 4.5 in 13; his last 10 went 7, 6, 4, 7, 7, 6, 8, 3, 4 and 2, the last two being his postseason starts. On outs, Rasmussen recorded 17 or more in 18 of his regular-season starts (average 17.20, median 18); Henderson’s line is 14.5, cleared in 17 of 18 regular-season starts (average 16.39, median 15.5).

Each lineup at its lines

Every hitter on the board has a hits, total bases and home run main line. At 0.5, a total bases over and a hits over clear in exactly the same games, so for hitters whose total bases line is 0.5 those two rows match.
